tires question

Hopefully someone has an answer...
I was rotating my tires after Sunday's autox and noticed something odd about
my rear tires. The front edge of the tread block had a lip on it. I guess I
mean that if you look at the tires and the individual tread blocks, the
leading edge was raised up and the trailing edge of the block was worn more.
What causes this? is it brake force and does it reflect on my driving style?
