Clear Coat

Just a tip for all of you out there, like myself, with
some serious clear coat damage from baking in the sun.
The surface was rough to the touch and looked milky.
This weekend I tried using some rubbing compound on
the surface. It worked great--looks like new! I
guess I have enough clear coat left that all of the
stains and oxidation could be polished off.

I would recommend starting off with 3M fine cut, then
using 3M medium cut if necessary (and finishing with
the fine cut). Use a glaze or wax as the last step.

Give it a try. What's the worst you could do? Damage
the paint? :)
