Cold engine will always have lower #s than a hot one, as everything is
smaller inside the engine when parts are cool. I think your reading are ok.
Shop doesn't know how to do a compression test, they probably did the test
with 3 plugs in at a time and testing one cylinder which will cause
inaccurate readings. I won't even dare to let them touch your car to do
valves on it...they dunno WTF they are getting into.
