I've heard of other stock SE-R's clutches failing in a similar manner. My
car only has I/H/E, and I am a very 'clutch friendly' driver. Mine stock
clutch detonated while I was puttering around town, downshifting into 2nd
gear to turn into Pep Boys.

What did you wind up buying?
