Oil consumption

I have a '91 Classic with 90K and it seems like all of a sudden the oil
consumption has gone up. I'm using about 1/2 qt every 3K oil change with Mobil
1 10W30. I have no leaks so I think I will try the high mileage stuff that is
out there for a test just to see if it makes a difference. I don't race it and
only drive it hard occasionally on the backroads. By hard I mean bump the
limiter once in a while in first or second.
