CAI and POP possible conflicts?

ok all of you with the pr- CAI and the Jwt-POP charger,
i have both and installed both. on the pr instructions it says that the
filter element can be connected to the mass air flow, so i did that. now, is
there any specific way to install the lower pipe? i just rigged it to the
bottom with a tie off and its secure enough but i'm not sure if thats what
is suppose to be done or what. so any ideas? please let me know.
