What type of reasons do you have to prove before someone gets their car
taken apart? I would be surprised if you could simply (in theory) have each
winner's motor taken apart to see if he is running coatings on his pistons
side skirts and a different head gasket after every race he wins. Can this
really happen? You simply tell the judges "I think the winner is cheating,
go tear his car up and make him spend no less than $100 to put new gaskets
on it."
Are there any repercussions on the tattle teller?
Is it at the judges discretion to do it or not?
This is a stretch, but I can remember in Tennis tournaments that I used to
play, that if you thought a guy was cheating on line calling (before the
semis), you could request a line judge, but the judge would watch your lines
and the opponents.
If you claim a guy is cheating in autocrossing, does your motor get torn
down, too?
