Every new motor should be broke in with dinosaur bones
and then after the break in period you can use
synthetics. A friend of mine rebuilt his 455 and the
thing smoked like crazy and couldn't understand why,
until another mechanic told him that you couldn't
break in a motor on synthetics. I hope this is just it.
