Odometer stopped working!

The person from whom I bought my '93 Classic had this very issue.  Seems to

My friend had the dealer evaluate it, and their solution was to replace the
odometer.  As it resets your odometer reading to zero, it's only a minor
annoyance to track when you are having to do your own servicing of the
vehicle.
