battery

i just checked my connection, as a suggestion from a list member.  i
recleaned the negative connector, and then it worked!  i have a question, is
it ok to put dielectric grease on the battery terminals?  on the box, it
said that i could.  that was the only thing that i did yesterday so that the
car wouldn't start.  i cleaned it all off, and readjusted the connector, and
it worked.

i think i will still get a new battery.  i had a little leak a while ago,
and just kept on using it.  i'll feel better if i have a new one.  what's
the best place to get the westco one? thanx
