Engine Temperature Sensor

try checking the plug end of the temp sending unit to
the ECU plug, that will tell you for sure.  i think
that your wiring harness either has a nick in it, the
plug is corroded, or maybe even the blue ecu plug is
not on flush to the ECU. my $.02
