BB DET Life

sometime in the summer (hopefully), i will be dropping in a BB DET into my
B14 200SX. i will probably run stock boost (6 psi) until i see how good the
condition the engine is. if i up the boost to 7 or 8 psi, how safe is it
(leaving stock internals in)? would running the stock TMIC w/ a hood scoop
be safe at this boost? i will also be running on pump gas, 91 octane, w/ JWT
tuned ECU. the car will be a street driver, might take it to the track a few
times, but with race gas of course. anyways, my sights are set on running
the stock internals for about 3 to 5 years until i can rebuild the whole
block. i hope to get at least 200whp with stock internals and upping the
boost.
