I sit in a 4-speed Spec V today...

Yep, a 4 speed! (at least that's what the shift knob says)
Finally went down to the local dealer to look at a Spec V as I have yet to
see one on the road in Indy.
The dealer has one (1). They also have a total of one standard SE-R, and
it's an automatic.
Of course they have the one Spec V sitting in the showroom. I prepare
myself to see how dumb the salesperson is and I am pleasantly surprised.
He's somewhat knowledgable about the car and doesn't try to bullshit me
(maybe because he saw me pull up in my SE-R with the giant TireRack.com,
SE-R.net, and SCCA stickers in the windows). He claims they are not marking
up prices with any "dealer markups", but that they are not making any deals
either. Pay sticker price, and it's out the door. I'm not serious about
buying one so I don't bother them with getting it out of the showroom for a
test drive.
Here's the best part - the car was used at the Indianapolis Auto Show a few
weeks ago.
At the show, someone stole the shift knob off it!
The replacement knob is on backorder, so they pulled a 4-speed knob out of
their parts bin as a temporary replacement.

Steve in Indy (wondering why my 5'8", 170# body fits better in my '92
classic than in a Spec V)
