Found a motor

I found a used motor out a 91 se-r with a Stillen pop charger on it.  I
asked the junk yard guy if I could pop the valve cover off and he said sure
and that he would start it up.

Long story short:

popped valve cover off, and the motor has no caking inside, so it sounds
reasonable for a motor with only 71000 miles on it, I only saw caramel
inside.

They started up the car using a can of starting fluid squirting thru the
stillen intake.  It was not idling properly and they said the car has been
sitting in the yard for over a year.  I had a tough time hearing the motor
b/c eveything after the 4-2 collector was gone.

What else do I need to look for?
I am going to go back and check the spark plugs.
What about a compression test?
Where do I get one?
