Mixing natural and synthetic oil.

I've heard this comment so many times so 5k ago in our 91 Celica at the 400k
mark I was daring and changed the oil with Mobil 1 synthetic. 5k later it
still doesn't burn a drop. :) I've heard people say this over and over but
never with an example. I chose not to believe it and PROVED that it is not
always true.
