Jay,

George is correct. Narrow band O2 sensor based gauges
are useless for even confirming safe running
conditions especialy on a turbo motor.

A friend of mine had the same opinion as you until we
hooked up a Motec meter on his car to find that he was
cheerfully and confidently running boost with an a/f
ratio of 14:1 with an indicated rich on his Autometer
A/F meter.

Lets put this in the FAQ fro sure because it comes up
so much I never reply to these questions anymore. Any
A/F meter besides UEGO type dual cell driven ones is
totlay useless and just a dash toy. The Honda based
ones that you can by kits to make are very sensitve to
temperture and thus location within the exhaust
system.
