I've heard of this kind of law.  Most of the Missourian/Kansan hot
rodders I know don't have problems with this kind of law, but we do have
noise emissions regulations.

How can you (as a law maker or enforcer) *possibly* enforce this?  Many
types of stock exhaust pipes rust!  That's what shops like Midas and
Car-X are for.  Sorry about your troubles, J, I just think this is
absurd.
