Jon,
Your best bet for a short shifter upgrade is to either go with the
SMC,pacesetter (copy of the 1st gen smc), or b&m shifter. They all have
different price points but work equally well. Mate that with the energy
shifter bushing and you will be very happy with your shifter feel. You can
use any of the b13 or b14 parts for that, they are a direct fit.
