Hmm, so I guess I'm not the only one then. I installed the xtreme pp when i
did my bb swap into the 91 se-r. When I went to take the first test drive I
started her up and went to put it into gear but it wouldn't go. I adjusted
the cable and got the same result. I did all the cable tricks including
shimming it about 1/2" with washers (I had to cut some of the thread off b/c
it was hitting the pivot arm!) and had it so tight that it could be played
like a guitar and the pedal was crazy preloaded. It still wouldn't
disengage. I dropped the tranny again and everything was the way it was
supposed to be. I took the advice of Ray K and installed the stock 96k pp
with new exedy disc supplied by act and it as soon as I had it together I
went for a ride and all was fine. I guess there was a batch of defective
units. I hope act will trade me the bad xtreme unit for a good hd unit.
I've had the hd package in my nx since 2/2000 and it has been great.

BTW, I'm running about 8psi on the SE-R and the clutch has only slipped
twice and very brielfy. Pretty good for a stock pp :)
