It had been great up to your head, but the headliner was trashed. Dropped it off later today to have the leaking header flex pipe replaced, then I'll give it a tune-up. <div><br></div><div>Anyone have a pair of window cranks that haven't turned white-ish? This is the only thing in the interior that bugs me now. <br><div><br></div><div>There's a lumber rumble (old Chrysler term) from the rear suspension, telling me that the rear strut mounts could use replacement. That and a high-frequency jiggle from the rear that suggests something is binding, made me consider also replacing all the bushings, since it's all 25 years and 220k old. Since I have far better things o do with my time (and lots of other car projects I'd rather do) than cut and burn out old bushings and press in new ones, this means buying new control arms from RockAuto. Considering that the rear LCA bolts have never been touched in the life of the car, what kind of nightmare can I expect getting them out? The car is surprisingly pretty much rust-free but does look midwestern down there. I'm hoping it's just a matter for a lot of Kroil, an impact gun, big cheater bar, and patience. </div></div><div><br></div><div>David</div>
