Radiator replacement

Koyo Model A1976 (A1977 which was the "correct" manual trans hose has been discontinued but someboady out there may have some) is the OEM type replacement (not one of the $300+ racing double row radiators) that actually has the 1 3/8 inlet and outlets that match up to the engine.  This is apparently the only one they make now and is designed to fit both auto and manual cars.  I have not found a price on it yet.

Alternatively, you can find fairly inexpensive ones at Rock Auto for instance (watch out for "without A/C" if that makes a diff to you, the core thickness may be narrow)  in about the $80 +/- range that are
1 1/8 inlet outlets and do what I did and get some thin wall hose to slip over the I/O necks of the radiator and then slip the regular size hoses over top of those, then cinch it down with the clamp.  Take a look around for that Koyo part number and see what you find first.  Probably priced in about the 125 range and then decide which will work for you.  Yell if I can help further.  I changed all the fluids and took the '92 out on a trip and drove 1500 miles or so last month.  Now up to 212K.  Still ticks like a new watch.  Amazing little car that would probably last forever if I hadn't done two winters in New Jersey long ago.

>I did this last year.  Although I did not use it, Koyo has the direct replacement inlet/outlet size available in an OEM-type radiator.  I was not aware of it at the time, got a no-name one just a little cheaper and had to "make it work" by sleeving the I/O as they were slightly smaller than spec.  It has worked fine but the Koyo would have been the way to go considering the small price differential.  I will look to see if I can find my old file on this.

>>I have a leaking radiator on my daily driver '95 SE-R. Does anyone have any recommendations for a decent replacement? Some details:I got 200K miles out of the first one. I'm broke, so the cheaper the better. I'm on furlough another week but I need to get it running this weekend. I have no issues ordering over the internet, but am looking for some advice.
