Oil filter relocation, Classic

Hey all. I'm getting ready to put an oil cooler in the track car and am also using a filter relocation piece from GReddy (Part #
12401114). I'm using a Tomei 193068 block adapter rather than a spin on sandwich plate because there's little enough room there now for the existing filter without losing about an inch of space behind the filter.

Anyway, my original plan was to mount the oil cooler right behind the passenger side headlight opening, since the headlights are gone, and the filter mount just behind that. But in looking at another classic in my garage last night, I'm not sure that I'm going to have the space I need there.

I started looking at mounting this where the wiper reservoir tank was (also now removed) but I can't tell how easy that area will be to access for filter replacements. The classic in my garage hasn't run in years, and unfortunately has become quite blocked by a lot of things I can't easily move right now, so I can't get under it to check this area.

Can anyone verify that the area where the wiper reservoir is might be accessible from underneath, or what I might need to do to make it so?

The only other location I can see for this would be on the opposite side of the engine, underneath the battery tray. There seems to be a nice open space there that is reachable from underneath, but this will mean running oil lines across the back of the engine and then up to the battery area, a longer run than I was originally planning, but certainly doable.

Anyone still out there that might have some experience with filter relocation and know what a good mounting place for these might be?
