The reactions that ran and continue to run rampant on that thread...
one of the reasons I curtailed my involvement there. Heck, I started a
thread "Goodbye... and thanks for all the fish" just to say thanks and
give appreciation to some of the members for all their hard work and
support over the years. Basically, I lost my enthusiasm for the forum,
but continued to log on more out of habit. There's still good
information there, but you really have to wade through all the
e-thuggery, ignorance, repetitive threads and fan-boy entertainment to
find what you need. I created the thread just before all this went
down... looks like I got out in time.

Matt, I still don't understand how they could think that you'd be
running the site forever... their loss. I do miss hearing from George,
Wayne, Mike and others. I feel like I came in at the end of one party,
stayed through a party I wasn't comfortable with, and then left before
getting thrown out. Maybe I've become old and jaded, but the level of
maturity on the site has steadily declined over the years. Same
frickin whiners, same stupid questions.

I've printed out and notebooked all the upgrades I'm ever going to need
or want... big thick binder, too. I still have and will continue to
keep my '91... she's my midlife crisis and was/is cheaper than having
an affair or another woman in my life. I have more important
obsessions to feed anyway... kids are still young and we enjoy doing
more and more together. Who knows, maybe I'll even make it to one last
convention when/if it's held at Roebling.

Peas us Riced,
Mark

P.S. Matt, I think you're a stand up guy... I am feeling a little
sorry for Chris, though;)
