I just sold my friend my 91 SE-R and had to have it smogged and it wouldn't pass. The sniffer was showing my NOX was around 2000. I have since replaced the EGR(used)/cat/plugs and it actually went up. I don't know whats going on but I need to get this car smogged and I am hoping you guys might know what the problem is or what to do about it. Thanks : )

Oh yeah on a side note. I bought my other friends 91 SE-R! So you might ask why would I sell a 91 and buy another 91. The one that I bought only has 60k original miles on it instead of 240k like my old one and its imaculate inside and out. My friend put a Tsuru front end on it then repainted the whole car and did a full tune up on it with a new timing belt recently right after he bought it from the original owner last year. The only mod is has is Tein SS coilovers/cusco camber plates on it and poly mount inserts.

Now to my other question. I absolutly hate the way it rides. On my old car I was riding on GR-2's with eibach springs and it was great for daily/spirited driving. The Tein's are so damn bouncy/boingy that you could run over a pebble and the damn car will bounce. It was only lowered an 1 1/2 by what my friend told me when he had them installed. So what should I do about this? Tein has offered to take the car in and fix this problem for a couple hundred bucks. So should I do that or just sell them and buy something more practical for daily/spirited driving? I will never use this car for any type of competitive racing so I know I am not going to need all the adjustability that they offer. So if you guys think I should sell them then what should I buy?

  Thanks!
