Believe it or not, that has actually crossed my mind.

While I'm not at all a Nextel Cup fan, I really enjoy local bullrings. I
actually went to the local one Saturday night. You can actually see some
really good (and sometimes really bad) racing there.

Keep in mind this type of racing is professional, not amateur like SCCA or
NASA. They actually pay money out, AND it's easier to get sponsorship for
(not easy, but *easier*). I figured, hey, take an SE-R and really set it
up right and it could be a great car. Unfortunately the local asphalt
track does not have mini stocks and the dirt track prohibits twin cams.

I think it could be fun. Race near home. Get there on Saturday afternoon
and be home by midnight.
