Headlight cleaning

If its on the outside of the lens, it can take some work. First I would try
the cheap head light solution packages that can be found on Ebay. A friend
used  one on his Lexus with astounding results. If it's to bad and that doesn't
work,  this will.

Use masking tap and top off all surrounding body parts (bumper, grill,  etc.)
Use 1000 grit and wet sand the yellow off.
Use a high speed buffer and polishing compound, keep the buffer "wet" and
moving. If they are plastic lights, you can burn them.
Remove masking tape and wash car to remove compound spatter.
