Nah.  What would ignite it?  It's certainly possible to boil oil.  And
simply getting it hot would not make it ooze out of the
reservoir.  Generally I would agree with you about sludge, but PS fluid
seems to react a bit differently from motor oil.  Some people even add it
to the crankcase to clean out any sludge (I wouldn't recommend this however).
