[SML-NON-PERF] Alternator Failure................suggestions?

 Hello lists, the first problem in the 2 years that I have owned this
car  has
reared its ugly head. Alternator crapped out  today......................

Should I have this 1 rebuilt to a higher output, since I am running  two
150
watt amps,

Or, is there a better alt. that I can buy and install? Thanks in
advance,
