After Pop Charger Install

Mark:

Here is my experience............just remove the hose from the original air
box and file.
Then put a small breather on the open end of the AIV. Don't remember where I
got
mine but Summit sells them as do a bunch of others, JC Whitney AutoZone etc.
I
also cut my Support Bracket in half then rejoined it with 1/4 thick rubber
about 2" long
separating the pieces. Provide holes to mount the rubber piece Screw
together so that
both halves are now isolated. This cuts out vibration and also allows flex
when the
motor does its thing under power. Last and important if you haven't
disconnected
the battery to allow the ECU to reset do so as the increased air flow has to
corrected for.
My car didn't run well at all until I did that.

Found the idle problem. When I put the pop charger in, I tried to use the
bracket that holds the throttle cable. Essentially, this didn't work well
and the cable was sticking. Easy fix, for once.

Baby K&N sounds right.
So, looks like I just need the aiv breather filter. I have
an extra hose, so I'll just cut it down. Hopefully, I won't need any sort of
adapter.

Peace,
Mark
