can copy/scan my FSM for you (96 but it should be similar)

In my car... I would get a severe bucking off-throttle.  Like to the point
that I would have to punch the clutch immediately.  The bucking was like
worse than wheelhop!  It would usually happen when I was decelerating
- like up to a light or down a hill.  It'd happen in the 2500-3000
RPM range.  The problem would also occur under partial throttle except it
wasn't bucking - more like hesitation and stumbling.  I *THINK* (this is
like 4 years ago) the throttle response also got better once fixed.  A
little but not huge.  Another thing I think it helped was a little bit of
a high idle that wouldn't come down.
