Hotshot Header leaking at the flex pipe

As the heading says, mine is leaking at the flex pipe and I called HS and
they said it's $60 for the flex pipe and another $60 for labor to replace it
plus whatever shipping (I ship my secondary to them) and tax comes up to.
Anyone else done anything different when faced with the same problem? As in
took it in locally and had it done there?  How was the repairs? Any info or
suggestions once again would be very much appreciated. TIA
