Bingo. This rings true to me. The first time I stopped with my Axxis
(p'tooie) I thought I was never going to stop. That is the problem with
using performance pads on the street. I've since just switched over to
OEM. They work first time, every time. And if I overcook them on the
street (I don't) it's because I'm doing something stupid.

I'd suggest getting a softer compound for daily driving, or if you already
have a soft compound, just remember to put some heat in them first thing as
you start driving so they work when you need them to.
