squeaky brakes

So, i pull the wheel off today to look at that caliper that is squeaking.
appears that the boot surrounding the piston has a hole in it and most likely the
piston is a little dry. so i greased the bolts and stuffed some grease on the
piston as best i could and reassembled. no more squeaking/groaning for now.

how hard is it to replace that rubber boot? is that basically a caliper
rebuild?

just unscrew the brake line at the back and pull the piston out and replace
with new boot after cleaning and lubing?
