I bought one early last year when they first came out.  I did a 0-60mph run
and got 7.2 seconds for my stock Spec V which is pretty close to what the
mags get.  I never did a quarter in it though, I haven't been to the track
since then.  The shift light function of it is very nice.

I believe the reason it has a higher mph in the 1/4 is that it measures the
trap speed exactly at the end of the 1/4 mile whereas at a drag strip it
gives an average speed of the last 100 feet of the track.

49.95 is a killer deal for one of those; I paid 250 for mine.  I haven't
used mine much at all though.  I used the solid mount to mount it on my
dash, I didn't like the suction cup mount; it kept falling off the
windshield.  I mounted the post for the solid mount right in the middle of
the compartment on the top of my dash.  I also got a second mounting post
for free from the GTECH people just by calling and asking, they included
shipping and everything.  I had it in my 98 Frontier till I sold it.
