QUESTION FOR YOU ALL

I used an air box (insulated) and took air from the empty "inside" headlamp
hole. It was 10 years ago, but I beleive we were able to keep them all
within 50 degrees of one another when we started tinkering. With all
throats jetted the same, we could see over 150 degree difference in EGT from
cylinder 2 to cylinder 4. Have to keep checking the probes though. THey
have to be a matched (or claibrated?) set. Don't want to start making
jetting changes based on an inaccurate probe. Again, "I Beleive", we used a
standard "type-K" thermocouple....

Erik, what was the temperature differential hottest to coldest before you
tuned each carb throat?

I wonder how much difference engine mounting makes, as in air flow and
convection, on block temperature?
