Alternative to AGX's

Ah well,

I'd heard from a local good auto-x driver
that gr2's were pretty good on his hypercos.

I also now recall he's running the Gen I hypercos
which are something like 185# in the front. The
Gen II's are 300/200, like my GC's.

So - is that to say that 1,2 is too soft on
AGX's?

Somehow I thought that 3/6 front/rear didn't
feel like it was handling any better, but my
inexperience as a driver might have been making
that the case.

I will say Andy Dewar managed 3rd in a fairly
small, but decently tough STS crowd autocrossing
running 1/3 on my cornerweighted GC/AGX
setup and Mark Chiles old 40mm offset
Revolutions with Azenis wrapped around them.

Neither he nor I thought the car handled better
with the shocks any stiffer, but it was also a
very rough course. I actually drove faster in his
car on my ice skates (ES100's on stock rims) -
further proving I can't drive (yet). He has the
Gen I hypercos on gr2's. He was 4.5 to 5 seconds
faster in my car. At least I did something half right :)

Cheaper, Faster, Better, pick any two.
