Aluminum jack

Just an FYI, Sam's Club is (at least seasonally) carrying an aluminum floor
jack for $132.88.  Made in China sold under the Crewline division of the
Alltrade brand, 1 yr. warranty with U.S. customer service in Long Beach, CA.
Lift rating is 1.5 tons, 3.5" to 17.5", fully raises in 7 to 10 pumps and it
weighs 37 pounds.  The handle is held in place with a thumb screw and the
halves are held together with spring loaded pin.  Also, the pump handle
comes with a nerf pad so you won't scratch up your car if you get a little
excited with it...
The only draw-back is that the saddle is a permanent part of the jack, so
unless it is cross-drilled to allow the "saddle axis arm" to pass through, a
custom "frame rail" saddle will not work with this unit.
