QR valve clearance adjustment?

OK, let me clear this out. Some old Nissan engines (let's say E-series) have
periodic valve clearance adjustment at a certain mileage you have to adjust
it, I know this not the same as QRs, the E series have rocker arms and no
hydraulics.

Here are my questions:

1. Does the QR need a periodic valve clearance adjustment?

then a guy says:

"This buckets come invarious sizes to adjust valve clearance."

2. From the statement above, does it really mean there's is periodic valve
clearance adjustment? or this is done only when rebuilding the head or some
major head work?

3. If there's no periodic valve adjustment, what mechanism is responsible for
compensating the wear? or there is none at all?

Probably because the QR's aren't hydraulic. The QR25 has direct acting
cams, there is no rocker arms. There are buckets that sit on top of the
valve springs that the cam presses directly on. This buckets come in
various sizes to adjust valve clearance.

The QR uses direct action bucket and shim type lifters. There is no
adjustments to them. Much like the KA if you are familiar with that at
all.
