Tire Choices

Anybody got experience with Falken Azenis ST-115? Like the
idea of the quiet ride with performance.
(For my wifes Honda Accord)
I'm worried though, about the 2 very wide
grooves running the circumference that they will allow more
chance for a nail or other sharp object to penetrate the thin area.
Should I think Falken 451's instead?
Or how about these new Goodyear F1 GS-D3 or Potenza SO-3.
I need performance with Mileage and a fairly quiet ride.
