This might have been true on the early swain coating
called heinium and other coatings that were single
layer pure thermal coatings.  The current (for the
last several years) swain coatings have a heat
conductive layer to prevent hot spots and detonation.

My Z runs 26 degrees total in some parts of the map
which is a lot for a pentroof turbo motor.
