Jay, your opinion is noted, but I'd like to clarify something.

1) I, personally, really like Jez. I've always found the deals he's offered
to us on the list to be more than reasonable. If I lived _anywhere_
near Chicago, I'd be more than happy to take my car to him. I respect
the knowledge he puts out, and I don't care about his presentation.
I do have to say though, that I'd hate to be the guy with a TL that gets
slapped for a days' labor on a 45min-2 hour job.

2) Don't tell anyone to shut up, what gives you the right?

3) 'Flag' hours are BS. The warranty hours are closer, but in reality
certain jobs are worth a certain amount. Even up here in Maine,
rust and all, if you the tools you need for the job, rusted fasteners
are a fairly simple matter, i.e. torch, nutsplitter, set of drill bits, set
of taps.

4) Yeah, that is how most of the industry works. It's still robbery, and it's
still
wrong. The road to hell isn't paved with good intentions, it's paved with
justifications. Justify it all you want, just don't think I'd ever come
near
     your shop.

5) And lastly, it's obvious that this struck a chord with you, or you
wouldn't have blatantly overreacted. Nice to know you believe in
ripping people off, thanks for that critical piece of information. I know
yet another guy I wouldn't let my car near.
