Sounds reasonable on a carbureted car, however, w/ electronic fuel
injection, I would think that at the moment the ignition is killed the
injectors also quit firing.  The oil pump, being mechanical, should still
be doing its thing normally.  It does waste petrol, but an exhaust note is
addicting and could  be worth it.

Is that correct theory?
