Uneven Cylinder Compression

My '97 with 218,000 miles shows 175 psi cylinder compression on #1 and 190
psi on #2,3 & 4. I am getting a Mil code that indicates a problem with #1
cylinder. Is 15 psi difference enough to trip that code? The engine runs
with a little vibration, but it smooths out over 3500 RPM. I have replaced
all ignition components with OEM. Could the low reading be caused by a
problem with the intake cam?
