weird flappy noise?

On my way home tonight, I noticed a strange flapping noise coming from
somewhere around the front wheels.  Can only hear it when the windows are down
and it only happens above around 35 or so.  I coasted through my neighborhood
at around 20 and the noise wasn't there.  I had a look when I got home with a
flashlight and didn't notice any grease from a busted CV boot.  I'll have to
wait until tomorrow for better light though.  Maybe I collected a plastic bag
somewhere?  Weird noises are scary!
