Chasing down bad wheel bearing

It's the left rear that's failing. The noise will get louder when you
put load on the bearing -- ie. a hard left loads the right rear, a hard
right loads the left rear. This is especially fresh in my mind as I
replaced a failing right rear wheel bearing last night :)
