Hey Matt and the Rest of the list!

Happy Easter!!

I wanted to give you an update on what went on this weekend with my car.

I finally received the hotshot intercooler kit I've been waiting 2 and a
half
months for! So of course I had to install it...

And I worked today on getting it running right, but have had no luck.
I re-grounded the MAF.. it's voltage on the white wire was .020v,
and after regrounding it, it was 0.001 or there-abouts. So that seemed
to do some good.

I also re-checked the TPS. It seems like the GTi-R is backwards to the
SE-R. In the idle position, the TPS reads 10.9 ohms and at WOT it
reads 2.3 ohms... is that right? That's the best I could get it.

I replaced the plugs that were in it with PKR7B-11 Laser Platinums
from NGK... is that what you use? The old ones (same part number)
were black from too much gas (I guess??).

The one thing I can't seem to find is the Exhaust Gas Temperature
Sensor. On my SE-R I think I found the sensor, but it's no where
to be found on the Gti-R. Do they have them?? If so, where??
Could that be causing the black smoke (increased gas)?

I'm running the ECU that came with my Gti-R engine and I've
switched back to the stock se-r's O2 sensor. When I did that,
the engine stopped blowing black smoke for a while, but it's
since started again.

I'm really getting sick and tired of this car. It's been out of
commission for over 8 months and it seems like nothing's going
right for me. I could really use some insight!!

Thanks guys. I look forward to hearing from you.
