FSTB

First a couple of clarifications:

Under hard cornering, the strut towers flex OUT! The tire/wheel through
the contact patch levers
against the lower balljoint/control arm to move the outer tower out. The
inner tower is moved in,
but since the cornering load carried by the inner front is much less than
the outer, the total action
of the towers is that they tend to spread apart. The STB keeps this from
happening. As the outer
tower moves out, you LOSE camber. One thing that the flexy front end
without the brace does for
you is that it mimics a softer roll rate, hence less understeer. However,
you don't want to tune your
handling with chassis flex. Also, you don't want your alignment changing
either. Ideally, you get
the most rigid chassis and tune with springs and fine tune with swaybars to
get max performance.

I'd say get the FSTB and then play with springrates and swaybars to further
enhance performance.

What you should DEFINITELY think about is the lower control arm brace.
That thing makes a hugely
noticeable day and night difference in steering feel and handling
crispness.
