My Bandit (1.2L 4 -cylinder) has no harmonic balancer It does, though, have the clutch pack bolted to one end and the alternator bolted on the other. I have yet to hear of a Suzuki GSXR engine shake itself apart. Despite no rubber there's plenty of mass to change the frequency of crankshaft excitation beyond the necessary to cause harm.
