So this is how it ends...and perhaps another place to go!

This Forum Vs. Mailing list this is almost getting as heated at Honda Vs.
Nissan. The bottom line is that both can work together. I use both, and I
like both. Again, comparing this to cars, its like when someone says that
they Hate Hondas or they hate Nissans, but there are some people (me
included) that can find good parts in all cars. Even if its as small a cup
holder in the right place, there is always something to like.
I have been on the mailing list longer then some people on here (going on 4
years) and even when I was having computer issues, or provider issues, I was
still checking on posts. Its come to be part of my daily life. I dont post
a lot, but I read what I want to read. I kind of feel like the main list is
like a life line. Just like most, this is where I got some of my first info
on SR20's, and I really dont want to see it go.
Just like society and man kind, the mailing list "adapted" to fit a nitch for
its little side of the information age. Talk to anyone on the forum that
knows of the list, and they call it more of a Technical grouping. If you
want things thoroughly explained, you come here.
Another thing, and im sorry to bring this up, but I dont like the fact that
this wasn't announced. Someone just kind of fell across the info while going
to the list homepage. As far as I knew, the list was going to stay around,
just maybe called something different. We go through this like ever 6 months
or so...if the list will die off, should we close it down, yadda yadda yadda,
and the answer is still the same, no. I know that Larry can pretty much shut
this thing off like a light switch because he has that power, and that we
arnt paying for this, so theoretically, its not a big deal. i kinda feel the
opposite about that, and i just think we could have used some warning.
again, not bashing you Larry, im privileged enough to use this list and happy
for the work you have done, and im not trying to sling poo, all of this is
just an opinion.
