Get a torque plate made. My friend just had one made for a 4G63T, it's
not as expensive as one would think. The price of the torque plate and
local machine work was about the same price as shipping a heavy block
across the nation and paying someone highway robbery to do it for you.
Bonus is you can rent it out when your done.

As an owner of a motor with forged pistons that gets driven every day.
Don't get them! If you can use a stock style piston instead, use them.
Forged pistons are simply more trouble than they are worth, unless you
drive an open deck POS with no factory alternative. (Honduh)

Piston weight should make a difference, but I have never been able to
tell. The most common piston that DSM racers use is a Ross. They are
heavy bricks compared to everything else, but good enough for 9000 RPM,
close to 700 hp to the wheels, and 9 second 1/4 mile times. More heavy
pistons hold more heat, and are going to be stronger.

If it was me, I would go for the heavier pistons, slight displacement
increase and of course buy your own torque plate.
